Damn it! Having a stomach flu since Sat night when I was doing my duty!! It was my worst duty ever... feeling so sick and weak after rounds of diarrhea and vomiting, yet still couldn't go home until the next day morning!

Tomorrow is the SDC Tour. Haven't been to the new SDC yet, hope it is fun and enriching! I really wan to try to paintball again!!! It is the closest you can ever get to a warfront scenario and it has the physical pain element as well. (a 10cent coin size bruise when hit by the ball.. haha)

Seriously, have nothing much to blog about cos the stomach flu is zapping my life away bit by bit... hope it gets better by tomorrow! CheerS.

The long awaited rain came on Wed! It flushed away the haze and made the weather cooler.....

But I was jogging my 24km!!!!

Ya, was training for the Stand Chart and this time i decided to take a different route. From my house, I went all the way to near Hougang then to Pasir Ris, and headed back to Tampines! For once, I felt that the run was rather easy? haha though I took about 2 hours to complete it.

Back to the rain. I was jogging towards Pasir Ris when the rain came. It was so sudden and heavy! Had to seek shelter because my samsung nano wasn't tt waterproof haha. Coincidentally, I was at jingxian's block! haha should have gone up to ask for drink or something.. though I doubt she's at home.. should be in hall. Anyway managed to get a plastic bag to store my samsung, so I decided head back in the rain!

One word... Shiok! The last time i did something like this was in Sec 3.. almost forgot how it felt like. It was like in a trance state as the rain tapped on the body and the surrounding became blurry. Everything was so quiet, only the rain could be heard. Really enjoyed the last stretch!! Only drawback was my shoes which were getting a little too heavy haha. Weights training huh?

The magic was the coincidence. Did not purposely went for a jog just because it was raining. It was like God giving me a pat on the shoulders, encouraging me to strive on despite the recent stress and troubles and wanted me to chill out for the moment. And true enough, after the run I felt fresh and rejuvenated as I headed back to work that very night. Thanks!

More often, I feel that my life is slipping by too quickly... not fully making use of it. The DHS days was like yesterday and VJ orientation was like hours ago. Life is short and we all know it, but who can really live the fullest out of it. I'll try!

driVing horroR

Been the chaffeur of my family since I got my license and these few days had been rather dangerous and horrifying!

In total, I met with 4 near-missed accidents within 3 dayS!!!

Chinatown is a bad bad place to drive in and the old multi storey carparks are drivers' graveyard.. oh man I think I better review my driving style before I really knock other cars or even worse... knock someone down!!

The skies has been grey with the choking haze..... so are the people around me. Well lets not be affected k? Everyone makes mistake, just need to learn from it!

Tomorrow is Dad's birthday! Happy 49th birthday!

Oh need to apply leave for the australia trip soon!! Step, Wanwen and Wg!!! Hurry up!

Death Note

The gathering over at Step's house was fun and gossipy! hahaha after playing mahjong, it was like voyeurism session =) I'm really lazy to post photos and type the events so pls refer to Step's or Wanwen's blog for more k? In general, I was the party whacker , as quoted by wanwen, for not wearing yellow. But i wore GOLD leh! a Royal yellow!!

Finally booked the year end trip with Jieren and Shimon, others were either drunk like Justin, lovely with gf like Bong or missing like Jeremy!!! Nonetheless we got a great price for the trip and now it will be research and research before we head for Koh Samui!

Two of them came to my house to "twang" for a while. Watching all the old photos and videos was certainly nostalgic and funny! We practically laughed through the videos of jeremy getting raped and boo-ed at someone doing chin-ups. Hahaha

Come to think of it, soon enough the NSF will be leaving us. Can't help to feel lost and sad because I really cannot imagine life without them around.

Without Justin will be a lost of motivation to be great officer.

Without Shimon will be a lost of responsibility reminder.

Without the both of them, gathering will never be the same again.

So we must put in extra effort to keep in touch even when they ORD. Especially for me, who will be leaving end of year for AFS, must always go back 160 to hang around!

Had a quarrel with my mum over a small and insignificant issue. I don't what was the big deal about it and definitely not going to find out. ArgH~! Seriously for once, I want to tell her..... Whatever la!

Death Note is fantastic! It adds a human and reality touch to the comic plot! a Must Watch for all death note fanS!

HazZy dAy

Damn it.. the haze is back again. I guess the haze affects my mood, especially when it comes to work.

This morning I entered the office with a =( and Joseph noticed it immediately! haha he is damn observant.. or am I too obvious? After that, I received an email, stopping me from clearing off to rest after Stand Chart Run! AHhh my mood only got worse.

And now I just realised my application for Stand Chart may not have gotten thru! OMFG!!! I wanted to whack my monitor when i saw the email!

Looking forward to my course where I can leave the office for the time being and gather back my passion for the force... Air Force.

Yeap I'm officially the male chaffeur of the Tan family!

My family fully utilised the newly accquired skill of mine today. I did all the errands and transport services! But it is good for me too because I really need to adapt to automatic cars. I still love the manual controls, where I can whack each gear till its mAx. The adrenaline rush is indescribable! However when you get stuck in a traffic jam with a manual car, you are in deep shit! Haha all drivers will understand this.

Oh WTC is kinda draggy but meaningful nonetheless.

It takes the World Trade Center for us to see terrorism in the eye.
It takes the Boxing Day Tsunami for us to respect the nature.
It takes the Haze for us to treasure the fresh air.

It takes the Tragedies for us to cherish everything around us.

Even though we have heard of numerous such stories before.
Yet humans never learn... we need constant reminders from everywhere and everyone.

Timbre was great! Nice ambience with a good band, but comes with a steep price tag. Haha.

Oh oh i finally got my first mp3 player!!! Ok thats a bit loser but who cares! I'm thrifty =)

I wanted to get ipod nano but realise it is still too expensive and not exactly that fantastic? And to be different from others, I got myself a samsung nano.

So small compared to my hand!

The packaging is very nice! It will make a perfect gift.

Especially the engraving on the box!

Tomorrow was meant to be off for me.. but still as a soldier.. jus received a calling..

I finally passed my driving test!!! Not that I have failed a number times, in fact this is my first attempt. It is the fact that I have been attending lessons since last year July~! Took me more than a year to get my license because I didn't attend any lesson for 9 months during course time.. Too busy man.. haha nonetheless I passed!

Actually I only took 19 lessons in total before the test! Quite proud of myself =) (and with 14 points)

Oh of course not only my good reflexes and coordination, my good instructor attributed to my success. Thanks Tommy! He is a 56 year old punk! haha always talked about weird stuff like sex, girls and good health when driving. Ok the good health has no link to the first two, but he's an Elken guy, super believe in living the Elken way. And its true that he doesn't look that old at all! haha living testimonial to his Elken product. (guess yw's dad will be his good fren since both elken fanatics?) Maybe i should try elken products too.. hate it when those agents on the street stop me and say I'm 24!!! Go wear specs la #!@#$@@$~!!

Tomorrow will be an eventful day! World Trade Center followed by dinner and lastly Timbre!

I think my fellow officers are bound to ask for a celebration treat from me... Ah it will be on me la!!!

Today is supposed to be a festive and joyous day.

1. Children's Day =)
2. China's National Day (the most stunning parade u can ever find)
3. My official day of promotion to LTA.
4. Went Mind's Cafe at Selegie.

However, I'm not happy at all... in fact it is my worst day ever since 7 months ago...

Don't know why I'm so affected either.... but the sadness is amounting into a puking sensation... those who have been real sad before will understand this feeling...
