My first Notebook!!

Yeah.. with a first look at the title, I guess many will be rolling on the floor.

"This guy got his first notebook at 21 yr old?"

Yah but I am damn proud of it!! haha at least I am not a techno geek!

But the main thing is I got myself a really good deal!

Acer 5685WLMi

Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 (2.oGhz)
15.4" LCD (i like big screens!)
GeForce Go 7600 (all my games!)
120GB HDD (a bit small in storage but i can always buy external ones)
2GB DDR2 RAM (confirm my notebook wouldn't hang on me even when i open 5 windows)
2.4kg~! (the only down side is the weight, which is kinda heavy but the screen big mah!)

This time I went for a compromise of price and performance. My previous PC I went straight for performance only and ended up paying hell lots.

I was deciding between ASUS and Acer. ASUS won tonnes of award for notebooks while Acer has always been good and cheap because of MIC (Made in China).

ASUS notebooks look damn solid. Literally.. They are mounted with sliver strips and well guarded with protection pads. And most imptly they look really nice, almost on par with iMac. And I really like ASUS motherboard, my old PC also uses ASUS motherboard. They are the Mother of motherboards man! haha Reliability is 100%

I think Jieren must be thinking why I so dumb never buy iMac. The reason is more than obvious... too pricey! For the same kind of specs in my Acer, I would have to pay more than 3k to have them in iMac. And I really don't dare to use OS X, too "non-Microsoft" for me.

So I am happily typing on my Acer now. And the keyboard is very nice. Very touchy! haha not sure if thats the correct phrase to use.

Next week, in fact the month of June is going to be damn busy. Will be attending BMTAC while needing to complete more than 50 lesson plans because my predecessors never do their job! CPT Chng and CPT Peter!!!! Argh!! I only LTA lo.. doing CPT job.. not as if I am drawing CPT pay. But nevermind shall not be so calculative, as long as my boss is not exploiting me. Hahaha.

Alright shall install some games to keep myself entertained at times!
