aHm and bDaE!~!

Yo! Just came back from Army Half Marathon. Okay i didn't run the full 21km which i did last year, instead it was the fun run of 6km. Yet I am still so bloodly tired now!! Cos throughout the whole 6km, it was farlerk training. Loads of stoppages due the ernomous jam of people in the run.

All looking like jam-packed sardines!

The run started slow and it only got slower and slower... until we started to walk while others still pretending to "run" (bouncing on the spot).

Look at all the white shirts and black hair... don't they look like tonnes of blackheads? haha

Just as the run got slightly smoother and things started going like a normal run should, it started to rain. And it got heavier and heavier just as we pressed on to continue the run.

160 SQN's colour flying high!

All the 2LTs were instructed to take turns to carry the colour and led the squadron in the run. And there were a few rules that the colours bearer had to abide to:

1. The colour must be upright at all times.
2. It must be in front of the squadron.
3. It must be behind the CO.
4. You must not get tired of carrying it.

And so all the 2LT took their turn to carry the colour and had some fun! haha

Shimon happily following CO.. hmm CO looks happy too?

Bong carrying the flag and running really fast! Cannot even take a proper photo.

This time is Justin thats happy! Look at S3 (most right side guy). He looked so stunned.

The run ended back in Padang Field. And of course there will always be a group photo. But before that how can the junior officers not take a group photo first? We are the life in SQN man!

The junior officers with mixture of rain and sweat! Of course some not junior anymore. haha Joseph looked so scared!

160 Squadron in summary

Alpha Flight with our new OC.

Bdae was great too! (other than the resentment from OH) Had 2 days of fun with friends and god-sibling. Like to shout out to all who wishes me and of course the presents!

Thank U! You make my birthday! =)

Will post the photos next time because I'm really tired now. If you can't wait, then visit Justin's blog!

wAkeboarding!

Spent the whole afternoon at Punggol Marina, basking under the sun and soaking in the salty sea to do this! (points downwards*)

Hahaha definitely one of the coolest sports around. Managed to get on my feet after 3 tries!! But the moment of satisfaction only lasted for 15 seconds before i headed for my 4th plunge at about 50knots!! *pain*

But soon I was up and wake-ing again for another 20 times! hahaha (20 more times of crAzy plunGes!!) It was fun and thrilling to wakeboard, especially when I tried the more advanced board without footing type cos it has more control and challenge!

1. Novice board with footing
2. Advanced board without footing

And the scenery at Punggol Marina was captivating and the waves made by the speedboat simply made it better. I felt so calm and relaxed when it sped across the familiar coastline of Punggol Beach. Love that place and its memories...

So now I confess.... I am a waterboy! Just look at the photos, Scott and I looked like the Beach Boys? =)
But of course this berger must stop smoking first to be a healthy beach boy.
Like me! haha

And of course as always, the funtime ended with a group photo.
Scott (my good campmate!), Alison (Scott's gf), Gayle (the SIA stewardess) and Me!

I think I'll be going for a few more times to train my wakeboarding skills. But I must admit as fun and exciting as it is, the price that comes with it is not cheap as well man! haha Heck! after working so hard, it is definitely worth the money to pamper myself.

Okay need apply some lotion on my face before i turned into a peeling lobster.

This year Jieren is in the Colours Party. (look out for the second flag bearer closest to the grand stand when they do the march past) Cool man I love to wear No. 1! It makes any guy look good and smart *Salute*

Okayy going off to my Godma house to watch NDP with them. (cos my parents went overseas)

Do we look like the Kappa Logo? Okay it is pure narcissistic =P

The well deserved rest from weeks of hectic audit. (although it is still on-going for many dept in 160, at least it is over for 3 of us.)

Turnout of this gathering was not very good! With Jieren and Ben absent due to lousy reasons.. (okay thats only for Jieren, Ben has a good reason) But still we had fun and, of course relaxation was the key point of this gathering at Compass Heights. Steambath removed all the weariness and stress from us, leaving us like this:

Fresh from the steambath! Two steaming guys! =)

First entry in Blogger!

Hoho... yes finally decided to switch to Blogger from LJ! LJ has too many restrictions on the web design and stuff so I am left with no choice but to leave them after blogging with LJ for more than 5 years i believe? What a pity! But still i will keep LJ alive as a vault to all my previous entries, the stories of my life before adulthood. Sometimes i think it is even interesting enough for a movie? (anyone interested? =>)

Oh yes! I'm trying to learn the ropes of Blogger because I realise it is quite different from LJ. Especially when come to photos and special functions.

Welcome me to Blogger!!!
